excellent grapes are sourced from neighbouring Keerweder farm.
Owned and managed by the Arnold family until 2003, when a
small quantity of essentially single vineyard wines were made
for the Arnolds in the same handcrafted manner and with the
same attention to detail as the De Trafford wines.
The Keermont farm is now owned and managed by
the Wraith family. Young Alex Starey was recently appointed
to manage the existing vineyards and the development of another
20+ ha of vineyards. Mostly steep mountainside vineyards with
exciting potential. We no longer make Keermont wines, but
this may be continued in future once the new vineyards come
on stream. |
