Deep yellow colour.  Intense, complex, honeyed nose. 
Nuttiness a little more prominent.  Drying a little on the long finish.  Still drinking well, but clearly past its best.  Drink up.

Maturing quite rapidly now after quite a long quiet phase.  Delicious apple, mineral and honeyed nose.  Full, complex mouthfeel with steely back bone.  Drink now, but may last a little longer. 

Med. deep yellow. 
Subtle creamed honey nose and dusty peaches.  Rich, quite creamy palate.  Slightly more chardonnay-like probably due to higher percentage new oak than other vintages.  Drink now, but should last for a few more years.

Attractive deep yellow colour. Lovely nose of apple strudel with honey and nuts.  Soft nutty palate gives way to lovely honeyed mature Chenin fruit.  Drink now and should keep another 2 or 3 years.  at first

Surprisingly pale yellow in colour - showing little age. 
Similar to 1998, both very hot summers and it is amazing how well these wines are ageing.    Damp hay, red peach and litchi nose.  A touch of honey and toasted oats.  Delicious long palate with same fresh flavours coming through.  Silky textured palate, rich and crisp at the same time.  Drink now,  but should keep for at least 3 or 4 years. 

Medium yellow colour showing little age. 
Dusty peach and honey with a core of peachy fruit underneath.  Palate showing rich peach fruit tempered by a slightly austere minerality/damp limestone cave. Just starting to open up and drinking really well now.  Enjoy over the next few years.

Pale slight gold colour showing very little age.  Still surprisingly youthful with a restrained rather austere character.  Green apple  with a touch of honey and toasted oats.  Quite individual and appealing in a subtle, sophisticated way.  Really complete mouthfeel with subtle fruit and steely, mineral character.  Should still develop nicely over the next 4 or 5 years. 

Light yellow colour. 
Still quite closed with dusty peach, subtle hay and honey nose.  Oak integrating nicely, but fruit still to really emerge.  Elegant, slightly austere palate with a long finish.  Needs at least another 2 or 3 years to reach its peak.
