Hugely perfumed beautiful nose. Undergrowth truffles, very Pinot-like.
Wild berries. Silky palate, fruit drying a bit. Quite long and
complex with savoury flavours dominating over fruit. Drink now
(A little past it’s best, though some bottles have shown
more richness on palate). |

on brown, slightly unclear.
Surprisingly attractive nose. Old strawberries and dusty undergrowth
and a little balsamic. Soft silky textured palate. Fruit fades
on the finish but doesn’t dry out. Not much depth and
complexity though. Drink now. |

Nutty Christmas cake nose. Spice, some truffles,
complex.
Fine full palate, elegant complex nuts and dried fruit. Good
fruit concentration. European style vintage showing well now.

Med, pale red with onion skin edges, actually
surprisingly dark for BK5 (Champagne) clone.
Quite youthful fruit on nose, mulberries. Alcohol showing a
bit. Some herbs. Rich and powerful palate. Prominent but nicely
integrated tannins and dry savoury finish. Big Pinot. Drink
now or keep 3 or 4 years. |

Pale red colour with onion skin/tawny edges.
Pure raspberry, strawberry, mulberry fruit. Lean but very fine.
Very fresh and attractive. Hints of salami and undergrowth subtle,
but very complex.
Rich silky textured palate with fine fruit showing through.
Delicious. Drink now or keep 3 or 4 years. |

Rich, wild berry fruit, red cherries, roasted nuts. Quite fresh
and pure, lifted by high alcohol. Complex.
Rich silky palate. Dry, but smooth nutty finish. Fruit carries
through well to quite a long finish. Drink now, should keep
at least 3 or 4 years. |

Hidden concentrated dark cherries and wild berries.
Roasted oats.
Lovely purity of fruit, yet to develop tertiary flavours.
Rich concentrated fruit hiding behind tight fine nutty tannins.
Keep 2 to 3 years and should last at least 10 years. |

Ripe strawberries and dusty talcum powder nose.
Some misty undergrowth
quite Burgundian. A little sage.
Soft silky palate. Quite complex. Slightly powdery finish. Drink
now, should last a few years, but would recommend enjoying this
wine in its youth. |
